Deborah A. McGarry, President of Dermal-Care Esthetics and Wellness Center, has over 20 years experience in the clinical skin care and cosmetics industry. A native New Yorker, Ms. McGarry had been employed with world renowned Park Avenue, Manhattan dermatologist, Niel M. Sadick, as Manager/Medical Esthetician of Phases skin Care Center, a medi-spa concept owned by Dr. Sadick and his wife Amy Kamin. Soon Deborah was promoted to Vice President of Sales for a dermatological skin care line co-developed by Dr. Sadick.
In addition, Ms. McGarry had worked with other dermatologists, plastic surgeons, burn centers, and prestigious skin care/cosmetic companies in New York, Boston, Florida and the Mid-West U.S. With additional formal education in the field of psychology, Deborah has worked closely with burn survivors, trauma victims, cancer patients, and those who suffer from congenital facial disfigurement, assisting them to cope with the emotional and physical aspect of their affliction, and therefore, improve there self esteem.
Deborah has served on the Board of Cosmetology in the state of Oklahoma to assist in the implementation of a statewide esthetics licensing program curriculum. Simultaneously, Deborah had served as Director for the Oklahoma City division of the American Cancer Society Look Good, Feel Better program.
Most recently, Md. McGarry was employed as Director/Medical Esthetician for a Merle Norman Cosmetics Studio in Naples, FL, which had closed its doors in late 2006, due to their lease expiration at Coastland Center Mall. In addition to her current clinical skin care practice, Deborah serves as Skin Care Instructor at The Florida Health Academy-Naples, presenting a 260-hour skin care esthetics state licensing program.
